These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you", or "your") and The RPE Calculator ("we", "our", "us", or "the Site") governing your access to and use of therpecalculator.com and all related content, tools, and services.

The RPE Calculator provides a free, browser-based training utility for powerlifters and strength athletes. The core services include:

• ›Estimated 1 Rep Max (e1RM) calculation from working sets using RPE and rep count
• ›Target training weight calculation for any given RPE and rep prescription
• ›Full RPE × Reps weight percentage matrix based on Sheiko standards
• ›Educational content about Rate of Perceived Exertion and autoregulation training

The Site is provided free of charge with no registration required. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the service at any time without notice or liability.

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these Terms. You are responsible for ensuring your use of the Site complies with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations.

You agree NOT to:

• ›Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to harvest content or data from the Site
• ›Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any server, database, or system supporting the Site

What You May Do

• ✓Share links to the Site on social media, forums, or other platforms
• ✓Reference or quote brief excerpts from the Site with clear attribution and a link back

What You May Not Do

• ✗Reproduce, republish, or mirror the Site's content without written permission
• ✗Use the Site's branding, logos, or design elements without authorization
• ✗Build competing tools that directly copy the Site's code or design
• ✗Use the content for commercial gain without a licensing agreement

The underlying RPE percentage data is based on publicly established Sheiko/powerlifting standards, which are not proprietary. Our original implementation, design, and presentation are our own work.

The RPE Calculator does not currently host user-generated content, comments, forums, or community features. All calculator inputs are processed client-side and never stored on our systems. If you contact us via email or a contact form, you grant us permission to use your message content solely to respond to your inquiry. We will not publish or share your communications without your explicit consent.

THE SITE AND ALL ITS CONTENT ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we expressly disclaim all warranties, including:

• ›That calculator outputs will be accurate for every individual in every circumstance

The RPE Calculator is a training utility based on established powerlifting standards. It does not replace professional coaching, medical advice, or individualized programming. Always use your own judgment and consult qualified professionals before making significant training decisions.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE RPE CALCULATOR AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES WHATSOEVER.

This limitation applies to damages arising from:

• ›Physical injury, illness, or death resulting from training decisions based on calculator outputs
• ›Loss of data, profits, revenue, or business opportunities
• ›Errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in calculator results
• ›Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
• ›Any interruption, suspension, or cessation of the service
• ›Any content obtained from or through the Site

In jurisdictions that do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

The Site may contain links to third-party websites, services, or resources that are not owned or controlled by The RPE Calculator. These links are provided for your convenience and informational purposes only.

We have no control over the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites and accept no responsibility for them. We do not endorse or make any representations about third-party sites or their content. Accessing third-party links is at your own risk.

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation between the parties.

If a dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation within 30 days, it shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of competent jurisdiction. You waive any objection to the laying of venue in such courts.

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time at our sole discretion. We will make reasonable efforts to provide notice of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, posting a notice on the Site.
